First Pre-Convention Draft
An open letter to the Delegates to the 2004
National Democratic Convention, Boston Mass, July 26-29th
You have the power to create the next American Revolution/Evolution
that can claim the
Wisdom and Wealth of our American Heritage.
This is about restoring The Constitution of The United States of America.
Thomas Jefferson said "We need a revolution at least once every 20 years just to keep the Government honest"
When the Convention is over what will you be saying to yourself?
WILL IT BE
It was at the biggest party I ever attended and after all the time and
money spent I was only a vote to agree with the President put up by the
controlling corporations, so I have basically insured business as usual?
OR WILL I SAY
WOW! I just participated in creating the next American Evolution
and fulfilled Thomas Jefferson's wisdom that we need a revolution
at least every twenty years just to keep the government honest?
Discovering the obvious is that the powers controlling the media select our presidential candidate and it seldom seems to be someone who is for "We the People" and actually runs our country for our benefit. Yes, the candidates talk about giving us what we want and say all the right words, but what are their actions? Will thoughts be going through your head of how every major system is in self-destruct from the economy to the ecology? Will you be thinking of how, by staying that course, we are defying our Constitution and subjecting our countrymen to corporate rule's suicide economy and ecology?
President Abraham Lincoln Stated:
"I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. As a result of the war, corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed."
We are now witnessing Lincoln's fear and the destruction of our American Dream.
The Patriot Act and the surveillance mechanisms are in place. The FBI and CIA operate without accountability to the Congress---the Executive can`control all three branches of our Government, and we have voting machines that can be manipulated, all building a foundation on which a totalitarian American government can be established. Our shadow government's actions in numerous countries for many years are very much out in the open now so we are feared by many as the "Evil Empire" in our drive for world domination. We can return to world leadership in law, diplomacy and humanitarian goals

Creating Our First Citizens' Contract President
CREATING THE CONTRACT For our First Citizens' Contract President
for our next American Revolution/Evolution. This is just getting enough
Delegates to participate in creating and sign an Integrity Pledge to only vote for candidates who sign the contract about how they will specifically restore our Constitution of the United States of America.
You can go to www.VoteWin.us and participate in creating the Contract for our Revolution/Evolution.
Our Contract can state that the power of the Presidency will be shared by a Circle of signing Democrat Presidential Candidates. This supports our next Presidential Administration adhering to our Democratic Platform and restores our Constitution.
Hopefully, all Democrat Presidential Candidates will sign the Contract for our first Citizens' Contract President, thus qualifying themselves to serve in the President's
Circle. This group of Presidential Candidates who sign the Contract could even select one of the signers to run for President.
The Integrity Pledging Delegates for Evolution/Revolution can pledge to vote for the Presidential Candidate selected by the presidential candidates signing the Contract.
If only one candidate signs we will nominate that candidate to create our Presidents Circle and unify our party. If two sign we will cast our vote for one of the two.
CREATING CONSTITUANCY
Having the power of major unity in our party insures establishing the constituency for our Citizens' participatory responsive governance with servant leadership.
First, with the Contract we create party unification by involving Presidential candidates and their constituencies. In addition, the Contract can provide for a Citizens Congress consisting of a past or current national president of each of the 300 largest progressive volunteer service organizations. This establishes needed constituency to get out the vote.
With this constituency, we can have senior citizens and students at card tables in front of most markets registering voters and giving them information about our Constitutional Crises. Also they could provide absentee voter applications to circumvent voting machine fraud. We can create such a landslide vote that there is no way it can be ignored. We can now give our citizens a reason to vote.
The most powerful position in the world is The Presidency of the United States.
Right now the most powerful people in the world are our Delegates who will select the next President of the United States,
The most powerful position in the world is now too much of a burden and risk for us to delegate it to a single person. He might become unstable, defy our Constitution, and rule of law, "go it alone," believing that "God told him" to attack other countries to control them and their resources, attempting to rule those peoples through coercion and fear.
Thus enlightened self interest says that we need a
President's Circle to modulate and amplify the power of the Presidency
This Creates Needed Party Unity
In order to get out the vote, people need a reason to vote.
Many are saying that if the Democratic nominee does not have the voting record, the platform commitments, or pledges to actions on issues that the majority of the American voters want and need, they will vote for Nader, or another third party candidate---or just not vote at all
Thus our Democratic party may create a spoiler again.
The choice of our Democratic Party is to create a real reason to vote
for a Democrat or we will have Bush again.
